Free AI assessment

You know AI could help. Nobody has told you how.

Book 45 minutes with Ric, an AI developer. Walk him through how the work actually gets done, and he will tell you which parts a machine can take over, how it would be built, and roughly what it would save.

Not a discovery call. Not a demo. You are not being qualified. You are getting the answer to the question you have been asking for a year.

  • You meet the person who would build it, not someone who would sell it.
  • We do not send a proposal afterwards unless you ask for one.
  • If AI is the wrong tool for your problem, we will say so on the call.

The 45 minutes

What actually happens on the call

  1. 01

You walk us through the work

How a job, a matter or an order actually moves through the business. Who touches it, what they retype, where it sits waiting. No slides, no prepared questions.

  2. 02

Ric maps what a machine can take

Live, on the call. Which steps a model can do today, which need a person in the middle, and which are not worth automating at all.

  3. 03

    You get the shortlist

The highest-value automations in your business, how each would be built, and a rough hours-per-week figure for each. Yours to keep, or to hand to another firm.

The output

What you leave with

Written up and sent to you afterwards, whether or not you ever speak to us again.

  • The three or four processes in your business most worth automating, named specifically.
  • How each one would actually be built, in plain terms.
  • A rough estimate of hours per week each would return.
  • An honest list of what is not worth automating, and why.

The last one matters more than it looks. A firm that tells you what not to automate is telling you something a firm selling automation cannot afford to say.

How we work

We automate last, not first

The order matters more than the technology. Most of what gets sold as an AI project is really a process nobody has looked at in five years.

01

Watch

Follow one job end to end, with the person who actually does it. Not a workshop and not a questionnaire. The bottleneck is almost never where the owner thinks it is.

02

Simplify

Remove the waste before adding anything. Steps that exist because somebody left, approvals nobody reads, data retyped between two systems that could talk to each other.

03

Automate

Build the cleaner version, once the workflow is actually clear. Automating a bad process only gives you a fast bad process.

What comes after

The whole path, published

You are not going to be surprised by anything. This is every step, including the paid ones, so nothing has to be produced on the call.

Now

The assessment

The 45 minutes on this page. You leave with the shortlist whether or not we ever speak again.

Free
If you want it

A mapped roadmap

We watch one process properly, map it, cost it and specify what would be built. Two to three weeks.

Fixed fee
If it works

One workflow at a time

We build, ship and document a scoped improvement each month, then move to the next one.

Monthly

Most people who take the assessment do not go on to the paid steps, and the assessment is built to be useful on its own regardless.

Common questions

Is it actually free?

Yes. No fee, no card, no trial that converts into something. The only thing it costs you is 45 minutes and a candid description of how the work gets done.

What is the catch?

There is no catch, but there is a reason. Most businesses know AI could help and have no idea where it would fit, so they never start. Some of the people we do this with go on to hire us. Most do not, and that is genuinely fine. We would rather be the firm that gave you the useful answer.

Will you pitch us at the end?

No, and here is the specific commitment: we do not send a proposal afterwards unless you ask for one. If you want to take the shortlist and build it yourself, or hand it to your existing IT provider, that is a good outcome.

What if you decide AI cannot help us?

Then we say so on the call and you have saved yourself a year of wondering. It happens regularly. Plenty of problems that look like AI problems are really a broken integration, a missing report, or one person doing a job that needs two.

Do we need to prepare anything?

No. Come with whoever actually does the work rather than whoever owns the budget. The most useful hour is with the person who can describe the annoying parts of their Tuesday.

Are we too small for this?

Probably not. The smallest organizations often get the fastest return, because a single automated process is a larger share of their week. If you genuinely are too small to justify anything, we will tell you that too.

Do we have to share confidential information?

No. We can have this entire conversation at the level of process without a single document changing hands. If it is easier to be specific, we will sign your NDA or send ours first.

What does it cost if we do want you to build something?

There are two paid steps and both are on this page. A fixed-fee roadmap where we watch one process properly and specify what would be built, and then monthly build work, one scoped workflow at a time. We would rather you see the shape of it here than have it produced on the call.

Who is on the call?

Ric, who builds these systems. Not an account executive, not a sales engineer with a demo. That is the whole point of the format: you get to ask an engineer whether something is possible and get a direct answer.
